LUNCH & LEARN MEETING
Five Networking Essentials
Wed. Jan. 13

Do you get nervous about networking? Have you given up on the "whole networking thing?" Stop! Do not give up! This is easier and more fun than you think! Join us for this exciting, interactive networking presentation with Deanna Tucci Schmitt, Executive Director of BNI, and past presenter at NAWBO Day.

Detecting and creating emotional alignment can be essential because improvement, success and change result from being congruent (emotionally aligned) with your goals.

In this presentation, you will learn techniques on how to:

  • Properly prepare to attend a networking event.
  • Be able to explain to new acquaintances what you do using the "I help" statement method.
  • Understand the messages given and received through networking body language.
  • Practice the FORM system for developing rapport with a new contact.
  • Learn a new follow-up technique that sets you apart from others.
You will leave this presentation with knowledge and a new confidence. Let 2010 be the year you finally "get it!" This is your year to totally benefit from Networking!

About the Speaker
Deanna Tucci Schmitt, Executive Director, brought BNI to Pittsburgh in 1998 and now with her husband Bob manages the team of directors that support all the BNI chapters in western Pennsylvania. Deanna is a member of the "BNI Founders Circle" advisor board to BNI Headquarters. She is a contributing author to the New York Times best selling "Masters of Networking" and "Masters of Sales". In 2006 Deanna was selected as a National Trainer for BNI Headquarters.

Join us Wednesday, January 13 from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Station Square in Pittsburgh.

FREE TELECLASSES
featuring: SEO!
with William Weil
Getting on Google Page
Find Your Great Work

In addition to coaching and speaking, members of the Pittsburgh Coaches Association conduct workshops and seminars and for several years have also conducted teleclasses on a regular basis. These teleclasses are now held monthly, and are an opportunity for Pittsburgh coaches to share some of their coaching knowledge and experience with participants, as well as their passion for helping others to move forward and reach new levels.

This month the PCA features: Getting on Google Page 1: a 20-minute SEO Crash Course with William Weil on January 20, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. ET.

SEO guru, Bill Weil, will provide a phone-based crash course for beginners in search engine optimization (SEO) - and talk about how to get your site listed on Page 1 in Google and Yahoo! SEO results are five times as valuable as paid search results (e.g., Google AdWords) and available at a fraction of the cost - or you can do it yourself and the only cost is your time. Following the 20-minute crash course, Bill will take questions.

Teleclass topics range from sales and marketing to creating space, leadership, and finding your dreams, and can help people to make important changes and take steps to reach their potential.
