Very soon now, the PCA will be hosting regularly scheduled FREE coaching teleseminars.

Teleseminars are a great way to get some free coaching, and to get a sense of various coaches and what it might be like to be coached by them.

Information on various teleseminars and how to register will be available on our website. Please check back in a few weeks, and every few weeks, so that you don't miss a teleseminar that just might be perfect for you.

February Member Meeting: Care and Feeding of the Active Professional

This month, the PCA member meeting, open to all, is about Care and Feeding of the Active Coach. It will be presented by Diana Fletcher, Certified Life Coach Specializing in Wellness, Energy and Weight Loss

Health and wellness can be challenging when you are an active coach. We are always on call. We work until the wee hours of the morning. We travel and are at the mercy of hotels and restaurants. We feel like we don't have time to take care of ourselves.

In this interactive presentation, Diana Fletcher will inspire and educate you, bringing new energy into what would otherwise be "the same old conversation" about wellness. Diana will answer your questions including, for example:

  • What to eat at home, at work, when traveling, and when it seems we are just too busy to eat healthily.
  • How long will it take me to get in shape?
  • How do I reduce stress?
  • and much more!

Date: Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008

Time: 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location: Grand Concourse Board Room
Station Square

Cost:
Pre-registration (by Feb. 8): $30 members, $50 non-members;
After Feb. 8: $40 members, $60 non-members.

Coaches Toolkit

Triple Impact Coaching: Use of Self in the Coaching Process by Beverley Patwell and Edith Whitfield Seashore

In today's crazy world of fast and faster, change is a given. Triple Impact Coaching is a great tool to focus your energies through the alignment of your people, processes and culture. It starts with each of us as coaches, and the impact we make on others, and in turn their impact on still others. "To act or not to act" - it's all about choices.

Coaching Quote of the Month

Here are a couple...

"Most of us can read the writing on the wall; we just assume it's addressed to someone else."
Ivern Ball

"You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the season or the wind, but you can change yourself."
Jim Rohn
