Top Three Ways to Build Confidence, Start Fresh and Thrive

By Tom Volkar

Since both fulfillment and money are attracted to confidence, use these powerful ways to build your natural confidence.

1). Seek wisdom within, not without. Before you can start an authentic business you must believe in yourself enough to make the move. Beliefs determine possibility. Resolve and determination come from clearing limiting beliefs.

Desire = Proof of Capacity. If you did not have what it takes to complete an idea - that idea would not have come to you. You are enough. In fact you are more than enough to complete the purpose you came here to complete. BUT you cannot keep searching for "the" secret to success on the outside. Your secret to success is only found within.

2). Make the decision your fear making the most. Decision-making is an active process. We are adaptable beings but if you remain a thinker and never a doer, you won't get the opportunity to adapt. Without action your best possibilities remain hidden from your view.

Waiting serves no one. Any movement works. You must get in play and walk down the corridor to see what doors will open. You can't see them by trying to figure it out. Without acting you'll remain blind to your best opportunities.

3). Understand and act on the basis that you are not your past. You only hesitate to do, what you want to do, because you believe more in your past than in your magnificent possibilities. Your past is primarily based on the erroneous assessments of others. Their opinions do not count when it comes to creating anew. You are far more than your past. Your past only exists to show you the wisdom of contrast. By seeing what you don't want and flipping it - you'll be able to see what you really do want.

DEC. 14 - HOLIDAY PARTY! ALL WELCOME!
Find Your Great Work

YOU'RE INVITED TO THE PITTSBURGH COACHES ASSOCIATION HOLIDAY PARTY!

Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011

Featuring: Fun, Fellowship, Speaker/Entertainer Chuck Herring and YOU!

Join us on December 14 for our annual Holiday Party, featuring, fun, fellowship, and coach/entertainer Chuck Herring.

Who would ever have thought that an expert in the fields of team-building, communication skills, relationships, character building, sales and identity theft education could be SO MUCH FUN and still achieve the long-lasting results that your organization deserves? Chuck Herring is known for being smart, funny and right on target. (See also, chuckherringspeaks.com).

Chuck has an amazing ability to bring out great "leadership" qualities in all people, no matter their job, function, or title. His insights into the behaviors of individuals, teams, leaders, and organizations have encouraged thousands of people to take the necessary action for them to achieve the success they deserve, the results they desire, and the personal and professional growth they seek.

We'll have great food, plenty of time for interacting with each other, and a fun time learning with Chuck Herring.

Please note we will also be collecting for the Pittsburgh Food Bank. This is a really rough time for people, and this economy is tough on the Food Bank. They need our support.

This is always the most intimate event of the year - a great time to reconnect, make new connections and deepen your relationship with your fellow coaches. All are welcome. Join us!

ICF Update - New Membership Requirements Coming Soon

Earlier this year, the ICF announced that beginning April 1, 2013 all ICF members will be required to have completed at least 60 hours of coach specific training to be a member (or maintain membership) with the ICF.

To allow adequate time for all current ICF members who have not completed the required training, ICF has developed a Provisional Member category for current members who have not met that requirement by April 1, 2012. Current members will have one year to obtain 60 hours of coach specific training prior to the policy taking full effect on April 1, 2013. Please ensure your coach training meets the 60 hours of coach-specific training needed to meet the minimum eligibility requirements for ICF membership is aligned with the requirements for the ACC Portfolio Application credential path.

CCEU credits are available through attendance at most PCA monthly lunch and learn programs. PCA will provide you with information on other training opportunities throughout next year.

Questions? Visit Coachfederation.org/mer; check the Frequently Asked Questions for the ICF Membership Eligibility Requirements; or contact us at icfheadquarters@coachfederation.org.
